October – December: Leaders Eat Last by Simon Sinek

This month, we are reading Leaders Eat Last: Why Some Teams Pull Together and Others Don’t by Simon Sinek.

This book explores what strong leadership looks like when it is rooted in trust, service, responsibility, and care for others. Simon Sinek explains that the healthiest teams are built when leaders create an environment where people feel valued, protected, heard, and encouraged to do their best work together.

Leaders Eat Last is especially meaningful for anyone serving in ministry, leading a family, managing a team, mentoring others, or simply trying to become a stronger example of Christ-like leadership. The book challenges us to think beyond titles and positions and focus instead on how we can support, empower, and serve the people God has placed around us.

At Jubilee Christian Church International, we believe leadership is not about being first—it is about being faithful, humble, and willing to serve. As we read this book together, we encourage everyone to reflect on the ways we can build stronger relationships, create unity, and lead with compassion in our homes, church, workplace, and community.

May this month’s reading help us grow into leaders who put people first, walk in wisdom, and create spaces where others can thrive.
