Spiritual growth is important and necessary for your life. Anything that is not growing is groaning.
Declare this with me “Every time I show up in God’s presence, in God’s house I invest in my future”.
Prosperity of your mind will determine the prosperity of your health.
Think on this quote: Our ability to make Good decisions is based on the quality of information we have.
Here is a thought provoking example of how the bible and the scriptures are a mirror of life. A man is getting ready to go out and he gets dressed but doesn’t look in the mirror. The man doesn’t know that there is powder on his face. So he works all day thinking he’s fine until he meets up with a friend. She tells him that there is something on your face. He acts shocked and perplexed. He looks in the mirror and realizes that he has white powder on his forehead. You may have something on you physically but if you don’t look in the mirror you won’t know it’s there.
Spiritually speaking the Word of God is a mirror that shows you your image. You must look in the word daily so that you know what you look like. What does your image look like? Is it reflecting God or sin, jealousy, bitterness and other negative reflections?
The Word of God cleanses you from every, spot, blemish and wrinkle. You must look in the Word daily so you can be washed from all impurities. Think of it as getting up every morning, looking into the mirror and washing your face.
Joshua 1:8 say’s don’t let the book of the law depart from your mouth study it day and night (meditate on it).
The Word of God helps us to grow as Christians. You are to be planted in a house (church) so you can grow. If you go from place to place you will never grow because you are not rooted.
Psalm 92:12 tells us that if you want to grow you must be planted, what you sow you will reap. Root yourself where the Word of God is.
God Bless You!
